We study how relationships with other group members can influence health behaviour. Social contexts can be cues for behaviours like physical activity or alcohol - even psychological wellbeing.
We are currently recruiting ‘intact’ student clubs at Western to participate in network surveys where members nominate peers based on their affiliations or status – and we explore factors that predict one’s position within the network, as well as the extent that club networks demonstrate patterns reflecting peer influence versus patterns of peer selection/homophily.
